Been with Geico since 1998 or so. No one in NJ, big or small, comes even close to touching their rate. Full coverage with high limits, 250 deduct, towing and rental so not a stripped down deal. The couple claims I have made over the years were handled mega fast and not on the cheap either; they didn't even protest or raise my rates when my after market amp and sub/box were stolen out of my Grand Prix a few years ago even though I didn't bother to list that equipment on the policy!

God, those are some of the cheapest, most unoriginal commercials out right now.
Unless I found out that I would save PHENOMENALLY with Geico, I wouldn't switch purely based on the ads.

I've tried Gieco twice in my life.

First time, I was registering my first car. I was 19 years old. It was a 1987 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. They wanted $1,000 for SIX MONTHS. I ended up getting GMAC insurance for $800 a year.

Second time was for my motorcycle. I'm 29. Clean record. Bought a 2007 Kawasaki Ninja 650 used. Gieco wanted about $1,000 for a year. I got my insurance through State Farm for just over $200.

We had Progressive for about 8/9 years and everything was fine, so we thought. The rates were low, but the service started to slip later. We moved a few times and had to get a new policy number for each state we were in. They were supposed to, well at least they told us that the were making a record of our longevity with the company each time. We found out otherwise when I got back into and gave them a heads up in case the lady didn't come though on her promise to pay for the damages. They basically said no reason to call unless she doesn't pay, oh and btw, we're adding $20 onto your bill for a rate increase. We ended up switching to State Farm, and saved about $75.

So we call Progressive and tell we are dropping them and they can't understand how they could lose customers they have for a 1 1/2 years over a $20 increase for a accident we didn't cause. They had no clue or records we had been with them since 2000. Morons.

Alright you Primitive Screwheads, listen up! You see this? This... is my boomstick! The twelve-gauge double-barreled Remington. S-Mart's top of the line. You can find this in the sporting goods department. That's right, this sweet baby was made in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Retails for about a hundred and nine, ninety five. It's got a walnut stock, cobalt blue steel, and a hair trigger. That's right. Shop smart. Shop S-Mart. You got that?

Same here on my motorcycle insurance. USAA doesn't do motorcycle insurance but they refered me to progressive and I get mine for $226 a year vs. $900 with Gieco. I have USAA on everything and have for years since 1997.

Yeah when i got my bike i checked out geico for insurance just because of the adds then someone told me to check out progressive and i found that it was half th price!!!

I have come to the conclusion that switching car insurance will save you money cause literaly every company will tell you switching to them will save you money. Unless there all just entirely full of crap.

I like the commercials tho. especially the song after hearing them i wwent and downloaded all there songs. The artist is mysto and pizzi (yes they mixxed it they did not originally make it.) I am most people on here hate that type of music but if anyone wants to know.
