Look At This

our trails are in danger.
click the link in my signature, and make your way to this on line Rally.
EVEN if this is thousands of miles from your playground, find the time to make your presence known on pirate for this rally to protect the Johnson Valley off road park area. (Hammers)

these trails are one of a kind, and irreplaceable.
please, please find the time to post your positive comments as to why JV should be left alone, and continue as usable ORV area.

thank you!

I'll check it out!

We are currently losing all of our trail systems here, and it's not even up for debate. The Forestry Service thinks any vehicle is bad.

I'll only be at a computer for a short time during those hours though.

I can't register at Pirate. The first time it said that the username I picked was already in use, and when I changed it, it said the email I entered was already in use (because I tried to use it the first time).

Maybe I won't be there

I just sent an email to Jim Cooper (TN)

Mr. Cooper,

I understand you are a member of the House Committee on Armed Services. As such, I am writing to you in regards to the Marine Corps encroachment in the Johnson Valley and Stoddard Wells Off Highway Vehicle Recreation Areas managed by the Bureau of Land Management in the southern California desert.

The reclaimation of public and private lands such as these has a terminal effect on the sport of 4x4 off-roading. Contrary to public perception, 4x4 off-roading is a family sport which prides itself on safety and environmental stewardship.

Additionally, the loss of land usages like these would have a significant economic impact on the surrounding rural communities which support the sport, and the reclaimed private lands would be removed from the local property tax base.

I thank you for the opportunity to share my concerns and trust that you will act in a way that protects the interests of my friends and our sport.
