And there's babies. Cool.

Is there any info anywhere on where exactly this is? looks like some kind of a game preserve or something...buildings and things in the area. the other link someone posted on I think page 4 of this thread is blocked at my work. Anyone? Anyone? My skeptical mind needs info. Location, reason for existance, etc.

www.africam.com

It's the Nkoro Stream camera on a preserve in South Africa. Occasionally the cameraman pans far enough you can see the buildings of the camp there. On that site are also links to other cameras - it's pretty cool. (Yeah - I keep it on all day at work....)

hey, the other day when the warthog was on we saw it munching on the grass. and as it was munching we heard the sounds of it ripping the grass and chewing with its mouth open.
how's that for sound effects?

Maybe they have directional microphones that are crazy sensitive (they'd have to be to hear a warthog munching grass). That could be what makes the insects and birds so dang loud I guess. I just haven't seen anything yet that I would describe as 'real time audio'...

Keep watching, and yes very sensitive condensor mics I'm sure are being used.

I think that's a water buffalo. I mean it's in the water, for crying out loud. It must be a water buffalo.

You gotta check this thing out at about 8:00 in the morning. Crazy activity. I saw sasquatch this morning, playing with elephants. That's just before nightfall over there...in burbank.
