Linkback

Is there a difference between using the linkback function from the drop down box vs. just copy and pasting from the web address bar?

P.S.
I searched "linkback" from the drop down; for both threads and posts, and found only 1 result. Am I using search properly??

I just clicked the LinkBack button and noted that the URL was identical to the URL in my address bar.

Must be easy access. I never noticed it before honestly...

I read the definition of it but don't know how its functionality compares to just copy paste from the add. bar. Maybe four eyes will drop in and tell us what twits we are...

For a second I thought this thread was about Limbeck and I was really excited.

There is a purpose for everything. If you need to link to a thread, do what you need to do.
