nah, I read it a while ago. Just started to read it again.
Also, it's not a book about the number Pi.
But a kid named Pi trapped on a lifeboat in the middle of the Pacific Ocean with a Bengal tiger.
yes,
a tiger.

I'm sure there's a Calvin & Hobbes joke in there somewhere but I can't quite seem to put my finger on it.

my ex graduated college with honors, got her masters and graduate degree but never understood Calvin and Hobbes. I would tell her, Hobbes is a stuffed toy tiger, he's only a real tiger when nobody else is around, he's Calvin's imagination. Her response was always, "but Hobbes talks."

Calvin and Hobbes is cool, but that kid has issues; he whips it out and pees on anything.

I read Life of Pi, and I enjoyed it although I wouldn't call it the greatest book I've ever read. Richard Parker = Pi.

Your ex is a dumb ***.

What's her number?

Back is HS when I took advanced math courses my friends and I would put down Pi for every answer we couldn't figure out. It drove the teachers nuts to see an entire chalkboard of work, and then our answer ends up as Pi.
