You could see that coming with that breakover angle. What kind of skids do Liberties have? It looks like his front tires went down into a rut at the top of the hill and he pancaked on his transmission.

They don't unless you get the skid plate package from the factory or you add them yourself.

Inappropriate body armor was this guys #1 mistake.

#2 was going too fast
#3 was not knowing about the rock outcropping at the top of that "hill"

I watched that vid several times this morning and concluded he had to hit something HARD at the breakover point. Something was high enough to smack the xfer case. Usually if you high center something you xfer case is only a couple inches below the rails. Not enough to damage anything usually uless you land the case on something hard and nothing else takes any of the hit.
