Tank you! I was looking for knives one day and came across the S&W on Amazon. Looked up some reviews and bought it. Those little screws that hold the pocket clip in place kept coming loose, so I put some JB Weld in the holes and torqued them down enough to make superman proud. Hasn't budged yet.

As for the rifle, oh yes! It's nice, I highly recommend.

Can't give a time frame for an SBR stamp but it has to be about the same wait as a suppressor. For my last can I waited 9 months. Just turned in the paperwork for another can two weeks ago and was told the wait is about the same , 9 months.

I went down to the gun shop today, told the guy I've been seeing a lot of SBRs and ****. I remember reading on a gun forum somewhere that you need to basically turn in the same paperwork for SBRs like a can, but the gun shop guy was saying you need a class 3 weapons permit, in California at least.

Whatever the case, good luck with any of that **** here.

EDIT: With all that being said, I'll be buying quite a few guns from them. They also stock ACOGs as well.

30's I bought before the ban. The 20's I bought while employed at my last job.

Actually prefer 10 or 20 round mags. They don't stick out as much.

SBRs are relatively simple, you need Form ATF F1. Application to make and register a firearm. You have to have local LE approval like any other NFA firearm. You then mail your application and photo along with your check to the dept of the treasury. You wait for however long it takes them to get your papaerwork processed anywhere from 2 months on...you will then get your form with a $200.00 postage stamp on it or your returned application with the disapproved box checked.
