last words of pilots in airplane crash

jacking around on the net (yes, jacking) and came across this site. they post the last words of every plane crash from now back to the 60s when they first started using black boxes im guessing,.

pretty cool stuff.

i like how you can click on a link and read the entire transcript from takeoff to the pilots last words.

i always wondered what they talk about up there for hours on end.

Last words

I was in an airplane crash in 1990. (passenger, light twin)

My last words before we hit were "Oh sh**!"

not sure the tech term but I believe its the "joystick" used to raise and lower the altitude and maybe even to steer. Kinda like a steering wheel

The 'stick shaker' is a secondary waring device, intended to let a pilot know that he is approaching a stall with the aircraft. If' I'm correct, it goes off momentarily before the stall, as advanced notice to the stall alarm.

so im wondering why the stick shaker goes off in alot of them right before the crash? is there an evasive maneuver done by the pilot that sets it off?

The stick shaker is just the joy stick for elevation shaking.
