LA Auto Show - BARF
k guys.. went to the LA auto show yesterday.. saw several sweet looking rigs, as well as some just butt ugly pieces of crap (see Hummer H2) Toyota, ford, and honda(dont remember) all had a neat hybrid rally-racer/offroader. The ford had the EX which i'm sure all of you have seen from the BFGoodrich ads.. Toyota's looked somewhat like a supra with 35" tires and IFS all around. The hummer H2 was the ugliest damn thing i've ever seen. god i hope they dont mass produce those. not ugly as in badass, but ugly as in feminized. several companies had mini versions of the H2, some with suicide doors. My 2 fav cars were the dodge super 8 hemi concept and the ford forty-nine concept. jeep had it's standard range of vehicles. notable missing was the new D90 and D100 land rovers. in the aftermarket section, a company had several lifted vans that were decked out really well and would make awesome base vehicles for towing your rig to the trail or even just wheeling themselves on light to medium range stuff.
