Kingpin vs Ball Joint

Can someone please explain the difference between the two? I know the KPs are stronger, but why is that? Anyone maybe have a link to a cross sectional view of both, so I can see the difference?

Would a KP still be stronger than Bonefish BJs?

These things appear to be a KP/BJ hybrid...

I know they are a little pricey, but would these be a viable solution if one were to get a non-KP D60, to achieve the same strength?
