Life is not what it's supposed to be. It's what it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference.

I think we should place all of our elderly in prisons. They will get a shower a day, video surveillance in case of any problems, three hot well balanced tailor made meals a day respecting their religious beliefs and nutritional needs, access to a library, computers, TVs, gym.
Put criminals in nursing homes. They will have cold meals, lights off at 7pm, one bath a week, live in a smaller room AND will be forced to pay $4,000- $8,000 a month!
It's pretty damn sad that we treat prisoners better than the elderly.
