Just joined the Hemi club
We have been looking to replace my wife's '95 ZJ for a while now. It has nearly 200k miles on it. I ran across a 2004 Durango Limited fully loaded with the 5.7L and the 5spd automatic.
It was immaculate inside and out. Drove great, ran very strong. Got it for 12K. No offroading for this street queen. It is too pretty to scratch up. Will save that for my Jeep. People are hemi crazy but I would say it is strong, but not FAST. This vehicle is heavy, but we need something very roomy for vacations and hauling the in-laws. The ZJ just didn't have the room. Anyone here have one of these beasts??

This Durango gets about the same mileage as the old ZJ did for a lot more vehicle. No big deal.
Any kind of "economy" vehicle would not meet our needs.
