Thats funny, hope you are ok. I'm 34 now, and I used to laugh at the old guys at the MX track when I was younger. I raced 250 pro then and we would get a kick out of watching the grey haired old farts....now I'm one of them! The funny thing is now the old guys usually are some of the fasest riders there in the over 30 pro class. The 4 strokes really helped lots of people go fast. I cant wait till my kids(2y/o & 4 y/o) are old enough to ride like yours do! I already have a Z50 and an XR50 so we will be set! As far as getting old it sure does hurt! 3 years ago I totally tore my ACL and have yet to fix it, then last year I messed my shoulder up as well, but it has healed ok. The knee injuries/pain SUK! I'l be a crippled old man but I had fun doing it!

Went home yesterday and after some yard work, did some much needed dirt biking to have some fun. Mind you I've only been riding a year or so.

We got geared up and started running our little mini track around the backyard. After elevantymillion laps with the kids I decided one more and I'll hit the jump and put the bike away.

Coming through one of the turns in our loop up near in the trees, headed towards the largest jump we got built, the bike stalled, I missed the clutch and we went down in a heap from a full all out tear *** acceleration in 3rd.

Dumped hard on my left side and now it feels like a sledgehammer hit me in my hip.

To add insult to injury, while laying there collecting my thoughts, bike still sputtering and laying on me, my 7 year old son rushes up on his 50 and rolls over my right foot which was sticking out from underneath.

F-me, I think that hurt almost as much as the bike parking itself on top of me. Thankfully it landed exhaust up. Mighta hurt a bit if she had flipped over and landed exhaust down.

Anyhow,

I'm feelin' really old today. Stiff and sore like all hell.

I think I have almost as much fun riding with the kids as I do adults.

He was sweet though, jumped off his bike and tried to lift mine off me. I said just gimme a minute.........

My youngest girl is a hoot, she sings the whole fuggin' time. She goes by and you hear "la da dee da la" or whatever.

I was going to get my son a KDX50 with training wheels for christmas, he will be almost 2 years old at the time and won't be able to ride it for another year or 2. The way I figure he can sit on it and get used to the feel of being on a bike.

Everytime we walk into the garage he runs to my bike and says "I want bika"....it's funny.

We had wanted some for a while, I had some 4 wheelers and got talked into trying out some 50's by my older sis who races amatuer.

We got a borrowed set of 50's one weekend and once the kids settled in it was all over. That's all they talked about.

One of the best things I ever got them, we spend alot of time together riding.
