Jeepers that wave

Ok, so I got a 94 wrnagler the other day, and i've come accross this revalation. All kinds of other jeepers wave back. Is this a reginal thing, or just common knoledge. I've already gotten in the habit of waving at the "real" jeeps (wranglers). Just something i was curious about.

It's the customary "Jeep Wave"

There is some subconscious force that we all are supposed to apply to, funny thing, huh?

LOL

do a google on 'jeep wave' and you'll be stunned. You've entered a sub-culture that perhaps you weren't prepared for. Wait till you come out of the store and there's someone crawling under your rig checking out your suspension...

The first day I bought my TJ, pulled out of the dealer and the short treck home (less than five minutes) I had two Jeep waves...I was excited!! The Jeep wave is cool. Although...I find that most guys won't wave first...I suppose they assume I am Jeep fluff (Daddy didn't buy it for me to go to college thank you very much!!) and sometimes, they even look surprised. Although less now that she is raised and modded. Most of the time, the Jeep ladies don't wave.

Too funny the comment about coming out of somewhere to see someone checking out your suspension...I have done that!!!

I wave at Jeeps and I'm not even driving one now... I also go up to people I see driving Jeeps and talk to them and look at their suspension/mods... Jeeps are beautiful things, they should be admired...

It's about half and half here in Marin county california. There is a lot of unmodded jeeps out here that are basically just cars to thier ownders. those people never wave. But, if you see a modded jeep and they see you, chances are you will get the wave.

I've seen them in Temecula, but here in San Diego, they just don't happen.

I wave at jeeps that look like they are true "jeepers". With so many jeeps in NYC, i can't possibly wave to all of em

Correction: nobody waves in the pavement-infested population centers of Cali.
The rest of us wave.
And don't you think it's strange that the tree huggers all live in places where all the trees were cut down to make room for development? They know that somehow they're fighting a battle they don't understand, so they hide in the city Everyone up here would chase 'em out with a shotgun if they showed up in our town...we just had another mill close.
