Jeep the worst car I have ever owned!

I feel I must attack all things Jeep!!!

I bought a brand new Cherokee Sport 2.8 CRD in late June 2005 to drive to Bavaria. The trouble never ended!

Rear quater light not fitted correctly result constant wind noise.
Rear door not fitted correctly result constand knocking.
Rear door refused to open result had to remove luggage through glass window.
Drivers door would not shut correctly result 10 minutes per attempt to lock.
Bonnet sensor beeped over 65mph result dont go over 65 so as not to hear beep.
Over 4 different rattles driving me nuts!

Took back to Jeep on return and all fixed except wind noise and rattles.

The last 3 weeks it has been in garage 6 times due to managment system warning light coming on and engine losing power. Towed away twice, been without out it for 5 days. Collected one night "oh yes it is fixed" then they towed it back next day!

Jeep UK say that if it goes wrong again then Jeep technical will fix it
(ha ha )

Got it back, traded in for a fantastic Nissan Pathfinder had to drive Jeep on holiday prior to collecting Nissan, yes you guessed it, it packed up again.

Jeep UK totally unsympathetic.

I have owned 3 Nissan 4x4's and never had a problem with any.

Moral of this story?

Jeep are American crap and the worst car I have ever owned. If this is American quality craftmanship you can keep it.

ABSOLUTE -=-=-=-=E of a car, so glad to be back with a top of the range T-Spec Pathfinder which make the Jeep look like a second hand tractor, or perhaps that was it? Maybe the garage told me it was a Jeep but was Farmer Spuds old tractor!

Good bye Jeep I WONT MISS YOU!
