Jeep tries crossing flooded bridge = FAIL

Not 100% sure it's a jeep but...

"I was coming back home from a dinner date with my 6 year old daughter. Was about to cross the creek we usually cross to get home and it was raging. I knew we couldn't cross and I was telling others not to as well. From the other side of the creek, a white Jeep Cherokee tried to cross and was swept away.
location: Boerne, TX"

I honestly don't understand how people are so stupid. Moving, high water is a powerful, powerful force.

It's a Grand Cherokee...why would anyone risk driving through fast water like that? Sadly there will always be someone who thought they could make it and not survive.

To the Jeepers who live in Texas...Stay safe

LOL - yeah, like a wrangler would have survived that.

Is survival of the fittest though, with a small cleansing the gene pool.

First off, whats with all the non-Wrangler hate? Seriously? In stock forum, other jeeps can be more capable than a wrangler. Once you start modding you can't compare models.
Since its no longer a stock Jeep. You can upgrade what ever you want on any model with enough money.

Also, If your jeep is a DD, some of us want to be able to haul more than a gas can, 2 people and a dog in our jeeps. Also helps to be able to tow more than 2000 pounds.

Back on topic: People have a ridiculous idea of what their 4x4s can do. Its a 4x4, not a boat. Survivors??

[QUOTE="Thegdog"]First off, whats with all the non-Wrangler hate? Because it's fun to watch non wrangler drivers get into a tantrum over it.
