Jeep Trail Edition Camper...FROM MOPAR!!!
Just came across this, i'm blown away. seems like a rip off for 10k. seeing i could get one hell of a camper for that kind of money. its still awesome....

Very very cool but also extremely expensive... you can get a 10-15' hard wall camper for that price, with a toilet!

jeffzekas 3:07PM (7/20/2010) So, let's see: $30,000 for the Jeep Wrangler & $10,000 for the trailer = total of $40,000 versus the used pop-top my inlaws gave me (zed dollars) & the Ford Bronco I bought used for $3,000. So, Chrysler wants $40,000 for their rig versus $3,000 for my rig! Ha! It ain't happening!

while the idea is nice ( you can even have it match your Jeep), and maybe I would consider camping more, but it way too overpriced.
Maybe if they take it down a lot then it will actually work, then again, a lot of people buying JK's have some money to blow and very well may just spend 10k on this to match because they wont actually sleep in it.

I saw one a couple weeks ago. It was cool, but not $11,000 cool. I'm sure there'll be used and cheaper ones on the market in a few years though.
