Jeep and Snow

I'm not sure if you have heard of this before...But has anyone tried rock crawling through the snow? I'm not talking about cute snow flakes but I'm talking about high meters of snow off the ground..

Apparently, nobody does.. =/ I haven't seen snow ever (lived in LA once) so it was like a question in my mind of what is it like to trek through the snow.. Although a friend told me once that it'll be like mechanical suicide because once you put the jeep in the snow and it gets really cold, some of its parts might break. I'm not sure if I heard it right; the plastic part tightens and the metal parts become loose so it gets broken internally. I'm not sure of this though, because no one would comment on anything.. XD

apparently, that friend of mine has never seen winter so he only had hypothesis on snow treading..haha. and actually, i was kind of thinking that it may be an alternative for santa to drive CJ's instead of sleds..
