im also not too sure how it costed over 7,000 dollars for a paint job, "custom" bumpers, painted wheels, tires, somewhat of a roll cage, some carpet and a sheet of metal on the dash. they said the jeep had been over there for months being worked on. i couldve done that job in a week.

I agree 100% the only people making money on that CJ are the guys who did the work. 7300?? For what? Not only didnt he know Jeeps, he didnt know how to use craigslist or the internet. I love the show, but sometimes it amazes me the dumb stuff they do. I saw the 6500 dollar mini bike up on a shelf on the last show.. another winner.. lol

I wouldn't pay more than 5k for it. But it's like here around town. If u have a crappy car, throw some
Cheap wheels and chrome on it and place it in the right part of town and it will sell. And yes pawn stars is much better than the other pawn show.

Didn't he say they were into it $7xxx, including the $1800 purchase price? I think the guy only put about $5xxx into the work. Remember that would be parts, paint, and labor.

This, he hit them for 5500. And it was there for a couple weeks getting worked.

They might get 10 for it, maybe 11. Any more than that is crazy talk, even for Vegas.

he said it was there for a few months getting worked on, and even still 5k is way too much to pay for a paint job and some "parts" you could buy from lowes. and i doubt too much labor was involved. looks like those lights on the roll bar were pretty tough to install.

You know how hard it is to rotate the tires, yet dealers charge an arm and a leg for labor. Doesn't matter how hard the job is, it depends on what their hourly rate is.

I'm surprised it didn't come out looking hot rodded or something like that shop had done before, looks decent

5000 something plus all the other little parts had to be found, at typical shop labor rates the price seems reasonable to me
