Jeep Liberty!!!

Okay So I went to the Jeep Stealership today cause my Jeep was making funny noises....turns out my Rear differential has something wrong with it..POS...Sooo my Jeep just went out of warranty at 36,000 miles and im at 36,845...argh!! Anyways my dad calls up The Stealership where we bought my used Jeep in 05 at 14,000 miles and turns out my Jeep was an Enterprise Vehicle Rental Jeep, which they just happen to forget to mention...so NOW since it's out of warranty they don't know if they can cover the $1700 dollar cost and blah blah blah. I'm pretty sure they are going to though knowing my dad. But yeah so I'm trying to convince my dad to get a wrangler...any suggestions on ways to persuade him. Oh and I would greatly appreciate it if someone could give me an idea of how much the trade in value is. Sorry if I rambled on too much! lol

Those sound like logical solutions, but I gotta milk him for what he's worth right? Wouldn't you if you had the opportunity?

How about you grow a pair and calmly explain to the dealership whats going on, you'd be suprised how easily people will work with you when you're being civil about things.

I'd check Kelly Blue Book online and punch in all the info about your KJ and see what it fetches for trade in value.

and to the OP:

you could find out exactly what's wrong with the Chrysler 8.25 in your libby, use your pretty little manicured fingernails, type out the problem, and get some help here on Jeepforum, then put on one of last season's pair of jeans, an ex-boyfriend's sweatshirt, and do it yourself. I mean, that always makes me happy when I know I am getting one of my ex-boyfriend's shirts dirty (this is a joke, I am male)

but in all serious, it will be cheaper, more trustworthy, and a hell of a good time if you do it yourself.

and stop milking your dad for his money.....

You are going to make a guys life misearable someday.

You are out of warranty, plan and simple, the dealer owes you nothing. If they do anything for you it would be out of the kindness of their heart. $1700 is alot of money but so is college tuition. Welcome to the real world.............
