Jeep hire Rubicon trail

Hey everyone,

So I'm going to be in California visiting my parents for most of December (from Australia) and after realizing how close the Rubicon Trail is now I want to do it!

So I am looking for advice on where to rent a Jeep from thats suitable to do the trail in, and obviously from a company that encourages off road driving.

I have experience off road driving, I compete in Australia in my Jeep so am pretty confident doing it without an instructor so am not looking for a guided tour.

However the issue I have is I am only 20 so most places require 25 and the instructor to come along which obviously adds to the costs.

So any advice on where I can hire one?

Thanks.

I doubt anyone will rent you a Jeep if they know your intention is to do the Rubicon. December? You do know that's winter here, right? We are in our forth year of serious drought and with any luck it will break this year, covering the High Sierras with upwards of twenty feet (6m)of snow.
