I've seen a Jeep like that before but I know nothing of this "forward control" name you speak of.

Thats funny, I was bored at work about 2 hours ago and was curious about the new commander and stumbled across the list of jeep models over the years. They had the FC-150 and FC-170 back in the 50's-60's. I'm thinking Forward Control refers to steering column being in front of the axle.

Project/DD - 95' Cherokee Sport, 2 Door, Converted to 4x4, AX-15, NP231, Black and lots of other goodies

88' Cherokee Limited - RIP

Sold - 96' Cherokee Sport 4x4, 2 Door, AW4, NP242, Its the girlfriends now!!
