Insurance/Property Tax/Registration of an m416 in PA

I'm looking at an m416 trailer for sale, but was wondering what I would ahve to do to register it in PA since I'm moving there in a month. Is there a proprty tax on trailers, someone mentioned something like that to me. Also, what kind of insurance is required and so forth. Never had a trailer.

Thanks!

I'm pretty sure someone is confused on their trailers. Most states have a tax on mobile homes, not hauling trailers.

- No sort of property tax for a trailer like that in PA, but you will have a yearly ($6-ish) registration fee

- You do not need insurance on a trailer like that as long as you pulling vehicle is rated to pull it. The vehicle's insurance will cover it.

My Dad called his insurance company to add the trailer to his policy to make sure everything was covered. His premiums went up 600 cents a year.

Thanks

Why in the hell would you dig up a 9 year old thread with a two word reply that makes no sense?
