Bah... I still say the stick is better for crawling.
I've driven a few of my buddies rigs with Autos on the rocks, and I don't like how the tranny "pops" when you shift it out of drive with a load on the drivetrain... I can't see that being healthy for the thing.

Rusty, are you part of any clubs? You chould check out the links in my sig... Cool stuff!
So 6spd = suck in traffic, huh? Hmm... I already knew the 5spd sucked in traffic. Maybe I can just skip a few gears and do less shifting? I'm pretty positive I'm going to keep the manual.

get a sick! mines a stick and i dont regret it one bit, i have a similar set up to your old one but mines not as tall, have yo u thought about insurance buyback? you could get your jeep back and still get money for the wreck, then take the stuff off it at your own pace then part it out too!
and post some pics of it i wanna see what happened to it

they may suck in traffic but they are still damn fun, you can skip gears every now and then but at the hrbt its usually just first and clutching 100000 times to get tot the tunnel. Ive looked into all the clubs but my work hours suck really bad i work overnight weekends so basically everytime they are out doing something im stuck at work.....i need a new job

Gah... no kidding. I think I'm to transfer to San Diego just to get away from the traffic.
Insurance called today and said totalled for sure. They set up a total loss claim and will have the Jeep back to me on Friday so I can take all of my crap off of it. Good thing nobody bought my stock parts for sale! I'll have your pictures by Monday, so shut it!
Still have to wait awhile to find out if I can afford the $20k for an 06 Rubi or not... Pray for me that they give me the money!

Swapped axles today. D44 and D30 with 3.73s went out, D30 and D35 with 3.07 went it! Stock suspension, and stock wheels and tires are also installed. Most of the interior is gutted, just a few things to button up tomorrow. I'll upload pics in a few minutes...
