I see few actual flames, people not lining up behind screaming 'You go girl!" isn't a flame. <--the 'girl' part is a small one.
However I always find it amusing when people complain about others being 'dum' 'sutpid' etc. Typos happen, on phones they happen a lot. But regardless of the device you can read what you just wrote before you submit it and etch it into electronic stone. Grammar faux pas happen, no biggie.
And being a grown up often means not getting into pointless arguments with people whose mind you can't change. So why argue ford vs chevy with someone that has an obvious preference. Or argue that ANY jeep is better than ANY truck, it's no better an argument than his as I can think of plenty of 'trucks' that plenty of jeeps are going to fall behind on.
Even if the subject jeep is better than the subject truck, all you have to do is change the location to lose that argument. Where 1 purpose built vehicle does exceptionally in comparison doesn't matter when you cherry pick that location.
My last rig is a great fer'instance. Dry trails it did better than 90% of the rigs I ran with regardless of make and hung with the last 10% without much effort. Put it on snow and it was pretty much a heavy trailer on the end of a winch cable. Either that or I suck at snow trails which is a possibility. Neither truck nor jeep, and heavily laughed at until the end of the first day
It did all the talking, I never once had to say something to anyone to try and convince them. Life is better that way.
