I didn't read the entire thread here.
You already know what kind of person she is. Don't expect that to change.
The less you interact with this person, the less there is to use against you. Good luck.

YOu better watch out talking about it on a public forum as well. If she got hold of it, this could hurt you more than what you actually say to her.

So wow...interesting day today......I am minding my own business and she walks behind me where I'm sitting at my desk and says "your disgusting" in a mean tone as she's walking by....I turn around and say "huh?" And she keeps walking away. Oh and her face was blood red. So I wait for her to come back and I ask her " why did you say that?" And she said "say what? I didn't say anything" so I go to my manager and tell him about it and he didn't really say anything, he just looked like "oh here we go again with this girl" and I told my supervisor and she seemed concerned and was asking me questions about the situation and I told her straight up that I have not been talking to her at all unless it deals with work....so now I'm pissed and I am on the verge of looking for something else...this is getting out of hand and it seems everyone wants to just brush in under the rug and pretend it never happened......

You should have ignored her comment. You did just what she wanted. Keep ignoring her until she does something other employees hear/see. Try asking another female employee what they think of her and the situation. Hopefully you can get a female on your side so crazy lady can't pull the male chauvinist card. Consider a recording device, if your employer allows it, for further proof of her harrassment.

She put a bait out and you took it. Wear a recording device, be the shadow of your buddy, and dont be talked to alone. Dont respond. Can you wear your ipod so u dont have to hear the garbage she is saying...

Start looking for s new job. Sorry dude to say it like that but better safe then sorry. And try to not have anything to do with harrassment. So that work cannot put this on you. Be carful around her. Dont take anymore baits!

I would look for a new job as well.

Since ignoring her won't work I would turn the tables on her and find ways to torment her, but do it in ways that she can't prove or do anything about. You know be just as juvenile as her. I also agree with finding people at your workplace that can't stand her and maybe you can dig up some dirt on her, or find ways to provoke her and make her go nuts and get fired. Sure she can make up stuff and tell the bosses, but in reality she probably already has.

Life is too short to be miserable at some mundane job, because some chick is pestering you and trying to push your buttons, at least have fun with it. It's quite obvious that your workplace isn't going to do anything about it. This chick is untouchable like you mentioned, a tape recording of her saying something isn't going to get her fired. You going into your supervisors office to complain about her makes you look bad like you can't get along with people, even if it is all her. It will escalate until someone gets transferred, fired, or she finds someone else to pester and leaves you alone.

This could only make things worse. No need for him to put his job in jeopardy over some drama.

Is there an option to move to a different room or office? I don't see how you could get your work done properly with her being hostile towards you. Also, is it just you she is targeting or is there someone else in the office she is out to get?
