Not everyone carries extra grease on the trail, but they do carry extra sammiches

I wouldn't try it in the summer. Mayo goes bad in warm temps .

..........no...........

wtf. mayo will not substitute for grease. If you need just a tiny bit, rub your fingers along side your nose or on your hair line

I think that Hellmans makes a 10W40 mayo.

I don't understand why you say that mayo will not work for grease. I used it to grease up my u-joints. They seem to be doing okay for now.

you know, it might not be great on a vehicle, but if you really like calories, it might be used to grease the other kind of You Joints up

So it really won't work?

Sorry, it was just a thought I had when I was making myself a sandwich.(No. I don't use mayo on my sandwiches.)

Next time I work on my ride I'll break out the miracle whip and maybe also test out some McDonalds fries or something of that greasy sort.

You could pack wheel bearing with anything you buy from Mc Donalds.

Mayo might not work. However, Fumunda cheese will do the job. Ask your mom if she has any extra that you can have.

I remember a few times I've needed just a drop or two of oil for like screws or license plate bolts. Just pull out the dipstick and let it drip on the bolt.

Mayo is not worthy of any Jeep related lubrication. If you are worried about wheel bearings, pack an old film can with bearing grease and throw it into your tool box. Mayo goes bad in the heat FAST. And it is deadly. When I was at Fort Sill OK, there were two deaths from spoiled egg salad sandwiches that were served to the trainees for lunch on the arty firing range. The stuff went bad between the mess hall to the range. I believe it was botulism poisoning, and it hit fast. Do not use mayo on any sandwiches that you may pack for the trail.

So where do you plan on getting the mayo on the trail of you don't put it on your sammich? Why would anybody put in a jar of mayo if they wern't going to use it??

Why not put in some grease instead of mayo before you leave. I don't think I would use mayo temporarily or permanently.
