Idiots in the snow

Was out walkin the dog, the bank accross the street wasn't plowed out, the town plow had just gone by and left a snow bank about as high as the hood of a car, some idiot in a relatively new volvo decides to try and get through, his car ended up balanced on the snow bank, got a good laugh out of it

Well, I usually don't have a camera on me when I'm walking the dog, about the only thing that usually happens is he takes a dump. And if I was out taking pictures of his car I would have been obliged to help dig him out, but he was drivin a Volvo, not a Jeep, so that wasn't gonna happen, of course if he was drivin a Jeep he wouldn't have gotten stuck to begin with

Possibly, but if I made it up I would have put a bit more effort into it and made it much more exciting, you'll just have to take my word for it

I did, I don't bring it out for the walk during the winter, with the heavy coat and gloves I could neither get to it if it rang or even hear it ring.

People think that they have awd or 4x4 they think they can go thrue anything. last night a guy in a new explorer tried to go over a snow bank and got it stuck on the top of it. It was very funny. I tried to get pics but all you could see is the flashers.

You think thats bad...my neighbor who plows snow got his plow hopelessly stuck the first snowfall we got. He didnt even make it off of the gravel road we live on. He lost 5 snow removal contracts due to that screw up. One contract that he lost was the snow removal at my place of business.
It cost him $150 to have his truck winched out, nobody else would go near it.

We stayed in Detroit on saturday night which is normally 2 and 1/2 hours away. It took us over 4 hours to get home yesterday. I can't tell you how many cars I seen in the ditches. A majority were 4X4 trucks too. I did not see 1 jeep stuck though . The funniest thing I saw was a casino tour bus stuck on the side of the road. There were 3 or 4 semi trucks stuck on "on" ramps blocking the whole thing. Michigan was a diaster yesterday morning. We drove the wife's Torrent for gas mileage it is AWD and did suprisingly well.

The reason you see 4x4's in the ditch is because of stupid behind the wheel. Sure, all that extra drive gets you up and going really well, but when you lose traction at speed, or try to stop in slick conditions, that 4x4 doesn't help you stop.

I almost got a new Jeep this weekend - because of stupid behind the wheel. Highway I was on, thankfully, was clear so I was able to get whoa'd up in time. The other idiot, on a side-road that had NOT been cleared, comes roaring up to the stop-sign like it's sunny and 90 degrees out. Slams the brakes at the last minute and proceeds to slide out right in front of me. He got a good look at the frozen bugs on my grill.

Had he gone across the road and into the ditch (which he nearly did), I'd have let the ******* stay there and think about what a retard he is.
