Idiots - Do tell

I just looked out my office window at the local SBC hub and watched a guy in a brand new minivan try to push start a pretty new Colorado - both have plastic bumpers. Wait let me rephrase that - both have really scratched and smashed plastic bumpers. Don't guess anyone told them the push start has not worked so well since the advent of fuel injection.

Anyone else see something really dumb today. I figure there are some good stories you guys are waiting to tell with all that ice and snow covering a good part of the country.

Haha. At first I read it that they were trying to "jump start" it instead of "push start" and I was wondering what the hell smashed bumpers and fuel injection had to do with it.

Does that count?

Some idiot got stuck doing ebrake 360's in the parking lot. I'm not sure what he did exactly, he was on level unplowed ground, just must have done something just right to lose all traction.

Other than that, I just watched a few people slide backwards trying to make it up the hill near my house. Always a good time in snowstorms.

Oh man, how pissed would you be if someone pulled up to give you a jump start and smashed your bumper.

My friend pressured me into thinking my 30"s could floor it through a long 4foot deep pile of snow... half way through my TJ proved him wrong... and there we were rocking back and forth getting no where until some rescue heroes came with a shovel. Thank god, otherwise I'd still be there. Felt really stupid for listening to him then having people see a stuck Wrangler, not a good image.

I'm watching idiots trying to go up my hill tonight (we had a bunch of snow), and I can't believe how stubborn they are about it. Instead of simply backing up and going around the block...

I'm worried my Jeep will get hit. I park on that hill (no choice--it's street parking), and everytime I hear the spinning tires I look out the window.

It's never happened yet, but with some of these idiots, you never know.

I roll my manual XJ down the hill all the time to start it, there's nothing wrong with it, it's just fun. Anyway with those Chevy's I guess it's an everyday thing......

Where to begin...

Well I guess I should give you mine first: I got stuck on a five foot snowbank that I tried to blow through. I knew I couldn't do it, but it was funny as hell. Eventually got floormats under the wheels and managed to back out.

Guy in a brand new Audi TT tries to ebrake slide around the corner into my street and spun out. I don't know how he managed to miss my neighboors Triumph TR6.

For some reason when it snows everybody decides to drive 40 mph down my street rather than the usual 25-30.

Then of course there are hundreds of idiots out on the roads who forgot ice scrapers and decided they could see through the quarter inch of ice on all of their windows.

edit: My neigboor just drove through her fence while pulling into her driveway
