They should all lose their liscenses. I am sick of this kind of crap. Kids who think it is "cool" to be stupid. The fact that the one guy interviewed tries to rationalize it away as being "under control" is just laughable. And he needs to put his hat on the right way anyway. Just think if there had been a broken down car in the right lane, or construction workers in the left? It happenend here just last week where an eighteen year old kid was racing and hit a pedestrian. The woman, a mother of three, was thrown 75 feet and killed. He was charged with vehicular homicide.
These idiots should be charged with wreckless endangerment. They should lose their cars for a year at least.

Isn't it illegal for the cops to take that video? they never saw the incident.

Then again when was the last time that stopped any other cop...

Lol, it seems like everytime someone does something stupid anymore they videotape themselves doing it

. They would have been in a lot less trouble without that tape. I bet the guy who took it gets his car trashed.

I hope they all loose their licenses for at least 1 year so they will think about what they did. Here in southern california we have had MANY people killed because of street racing. One of my neighbors was street racing last summer on highway 52 and killed himself while racing anohter vehicle. He hit a dip in the highway at 120+ and flipped over into a tree. Died instantly.

Why couldn't they, if they are doing a criminal investigation, the tape is evidence.

Ya'll remember the kids who taped themselves shooting paintball guns at people from there cars about 10 years ago. Shot a guy at 5 feet as they rode up beside him on his bike. As they shot him, he lost control and hit a parked car at a pretty good rate of speed for a bike. Cops pulled them over, wasn't sure what had happened, used the tape and eventually, the kids (18-19 y.o.) got like 10 years. The judge went nuts on them and gave them the max. Hell, for that amount of time, they might as well shot real guns. But they deserved it. Being stupid caused some pretty serious, (but non life threatening), injuries.
