One thing many don't know if you can send money as 'payment owed' and they do NOT take out fees. Now the problem with this is that since Paypal won't take out fees the buyer is not protected at all. So it doesn't matter about being able to file a claim. So now what do you do?

You pay with 'payment owed' option and use your Credit Card. Preferably Amex if you can. If not another card will work. NOT your debit card and don't do the 'transfer from bank account'. Now you are protected. You get screwed/ripped off you file a chargeback. In this day and age you have to protect yourself. If someone won't accept this 'payment owed' with no fees and wants a 'check/money order' you can tell them to piss off. I take paypal and would rather eat the fees than deal with scam artist of today.

Good luck.

Don't wait till monday to start making calls that should of been done this morning. If you used your bank for the check they might have a number for after hours problems and should be able to put a stop payment on the check. If it was through the post office and you used your credit/debit card call the 800 number on the back and explain it to them they can help you out a lot more than you think being that they would rather have your money than someone else.

Go to the Post Office for sure.

Maybe PM his friends.

Definitely PM JF Admin.

Have you called the local PD in TN? Maybe they would pay him a visit if you sent the paperwork to them?

Plaster Jon00XJ all over as a A**ho** scammer.

Good luck and let us know how you turn out

Well the other day i got the reciept in the mail that said he signed for it, so i asked him if he recieved the payment and he said no, and that hes going to check the post office tommorow.

This guy takes forever to answer my PMs, and im done dealing with him, is there anything that i can do to get the money back, or ect...

If anyone wants more info like his JF screen name let me know, maybe he knows somebody personally on JF that could talk to him in person.

Thanks guys.
Where did you send the certified check to? His home address?
