Well, I just tried the cell phone number he provided me with, and someone just picked up and hung up. I was going to tell him that the post office won't look it up, and to give me the confirmation number...

Edit: All the home number does is ring, no one picked up at all

I would at least continue bothering him at work everyday until something happens?

If he has the confirmation number it's very easy to look up where the package is, once again, online.

That's the first plan, I'll definitely do that if he isn't on top of calling me back.

That's what I'll do if calling him all the time doesn't work. Hell, I might just do that anyway since it'd be fun

If the previous two ideas should fail me, then absolutely

Which is what I'd prefer to do so I can actually see it. I wonder if maybe he's going over to the post office to ship it out so he can tell me some BS about it being on its way and it should be there in a couple more days

I can see the end of this- We have a huge convoy of lifted, muddy jeeps heading to Virginia loaded down with pitchforks and the like, only to get stopped by the fuzz asking where we're going. 'Well Officer, you see there's this guy...'

This isn't necessarily discouraging news. If he's at work at a grocery store a cell phone is probably not allowed. If it rang, he may have opened and shut it to keep from getting in trouble. If no one at home answered, that may mean that mom and dad works, which is good.

By calling him at work you probably got his attention. I'm going to say he was not expecting that. Don't push too hard or else you will become the bad guy (i.e. stalker). Threats online about going to find him, visit him at work, ect could be illegal, just like a threatening someone over the phone is illegal. A threat could be up for interpretation, also, so your idea of a threat may not be the same as his idea of a threat. I'm not saying anyone has threatened him, just saying "Think before you post". This kid is only 17 and worst case scenerio is he stiffed you for $75. If he gets threatened, mom and dad may get involved and make things really bad for the threatener. I know I would if someone threatened my child.

Is saying you want to burn someone's house down considered a threat?

If he does ship it out today, is it a big deal? He has his money and you got your parts. Its a done deal. A little late, but in the end no one gets screwed.

A very good point. I had the same inclination you did about the cell number, which is why I haven't called it back. I'll give it till tonight for him to get off work and call me, and if I don't hear from him, then I'll call again.
