What kind of files?

My suggestion is put them all in a folder like C:\BaseFile\ then make a batch file that copies all the files out of it into they drive letters so let say you have 3 .jpg files and f: g: h: for your drive letters for the USB drives

In the batch file just open up notepad and type

copy C:\basefolder\img1.jpg f:
copy C:\basefolder\img2.jpg f:
copy C:\basefolder\img3.jpg f:

copy C:\basefolder\img1.jpg g:
copy C:\basefolder\img2.jpg g:
copy C:\basefolder\img3.jpg g:

copy C:\basefolder\img1.jpg h:
copy C:\basefolder\img2.jpg h:
copy C:\basefolder\img3.jpg h:

then save it as copyFiles.bat to your desktop

then plug in your usb drives make sure they are on f g and h then double click the .bat file.

That should shave 10 to 15 even 30 seconds of time off each time you do it maybe more over time that save some good time.

If i knew more information I might be able to offer more suggestions.

Sounds like some sort of marketing thing. Like handing out usb loaded with files about a customer's products or some such stuff.

That is probably it. I have a ton of USB sticks from computer conventions i go to. usually only like 16 meg at most, but people do that alllllll the time.

This sucks
Honestly you should have had whoever made the drives for you (If they are custom printed, etc.) place the files on during production.

Unless you know how to write software, I have no advice other than stop posting and get to work.

If it's for a trade show, why not make them at your booth during the event? Made to order. You wouldn't make hundreds of needless ones that you'd have to delete later, and people would linger at your booth longer while you copied the files for them.

If you use a hub it will slow down the data transfer.. may not be an issue depending on the size of the files being transferred.

I still think the best bet is to take a laptop and copy and paste the files as needed... just do a bunch of them in between when you can also.

a) use a different OS
b) don't use USB drives that require a driver.

Both of these are planning issues. At this point... Red Bull.
