I need to program 1,500 USB's....help!

I have 1,500 USB memory sticks that need files loaded onto them. I have 3 ports on my computer so I usually load 3 at a time.

One thing that slows me down is that the driver installs every time i plug a new USB in (even though they are all the same type). Any way to fix that?

Any advice on how to make this any quicker than what I am planning to do?

I was wondering if a USB hub would work so i had a 4-port laying around and tried it but it would only load the files to one of the ports at a time.

PLEASE HELP!!! I HAVE TO LOAD THESE TONIGHT!!!

"Sandstorms inflict damage of about $540 million per year, and losses of crops and forests due to acid rain amount to about $730 million per year. More serious are the $6 billion costs of the "green wall" of trees being built to shield Beijing against sand and dust, and the $7 billion per year of losses created by pest species. We enter the zone of impressive numbers when we consider the onetime cost of the 1996 floods ($27 billion, but still cheaper than the 1998 floods), the annual direct losses due to desertification ($42 billion), and the annual losses due to water and air pollution ($54 billion). The combination of the latter two items alone costs China the equivalent of 14% of its GDP each year." - Jared Diamond, Collapse: How Societies Choose to Fail or Succeed

How are you programming skills? I'm not sure what your current procedure is but the ideal solution is a software program that automatically detects when you insert a USB key, loads whatever files you need onto it, then notifies you when it's done. Then insert the next one and so on...

2 Say you got robbed
3 book vacation

tomorrow, repeat.

PS: If you make the image files smaller, you'll be able to get more pictures on them. Smart keeping all those off your HD though. It's always risky keeping those kinds of pics around.

That's what you get for waiting until the last minute.

With 1500 drives, i would expect some amount of data corruption. I say 2%, so 1500 X .02 = 30. Thats 30 of them i would just skip and leave blank, then you can add another 15 (1%) for your margin of error (less than 1% and you are considered a machine...and you dont want to have the kind of rep with your bosses). Bammo, thats 45 less you have to do now because of me.

Your welcome
