I have to get this cast off!

k the story is my cast has already been on for 6 weeks and I have 2 weeks to go and this thing is driving me CRAZY! I really have to get this off do you guys have any tips?

Dude, if they said 8 weeks, keep it on for 8 weeks. PITA I know but usually it is for a good reason.

8 Weeks Try being in one for 8 months.

A friend of mine was in one of those body cast things for almost a year. That does suck.

I've been in and out of casts/ splints since april.. so I know all about this ****. this is just my last one and I'm just done with it.

Dremels work wonders, but the doctor will inquire as to how your cast got all of the air holes. They will also look at you like you're crazy when you explain to the, that those are 'speed holes'.

where is the cast what happened?


BTW doctors use a dremel and cut them off, just dont go to deep

An air powered cut off wheel works great for removing casts. It's probably better if you have a buddy help you out though.

I was actually surprised when the nurse said was glad she didn't have to bother taking mine off. Figured I was going to get b****** at for it.

I was in a pretty bad motorcycle accident, dumb ***** wasn't looking and turned left in front of me.

can you soak a cast off?

That was my roommate earlier this year. The funny part was when he had to go to Florida for a job interview. That thing was epoxied on there so well we couldn't get it off without destroying the cast so he had to go through airport security and to his interviews with it on there.
