I Hate FedEx

well finally after my friends kept urging me to get a pistol grip on my Mossberg 590 shotgun i gave in and ordered one from Mossberg. It was supposed to arrive today so i checked the status of it and it said delivered at front door. heres where the fun starts, i look and NO package. I was home all day today and would have seen the truck come but there was no truck. How could it be delivered if no truck came, do they have stealth trucks and boxes??? so i am out quite a bit of money if the lost it and said it was delivered, I never had a problem like this from UPS!!!

Same thing happened with my replacement radiator once. A lot of houses in my neighborhood have the same address numbrer, but the houses are on different streets. I called up and *****ed and there it was on the doorstep the next day -- not sure if it was the driver or a neighbor that delivered it.

When they do show up with your pistol grip, open it up and install it on the spot in a hysterical, deranged manner.

At least it sounds like they found your freaking house. FedEx can't seem to locate me. Apparently those vans don't work on dirt roads.

UPS never has a problem.

UPS sucks. FedEx rules. It's one of the few companies that is worth anything anymore.

Unless you requested "signature not required" when you ordered the thing, you're not responsible if they dropped it off without getting a signature. Either FedEx or the place you ordered the item from owes you a new item.

If you DID request "signature not required" then shame on you.

On a related note - I always have packages held at the shipping terminal for pickup. Besides avoiding any lost packages from my doorstep issue, it tends to get me my stuff sooner. I can pay for 3 day shipping and go pick it up at the terminal after a only 1 or 2 days. Good money saving technique (:

The FedEx driver decided to drop it off a a neighbor's house which where i live means 1/4 mile down the road. i wouldn't be so mad about it but my friend ordered rims which were "delivered" today. and he was home all day and no rims, he even looked at neighbor's houses an no boxes. I emailed FedEx about it, and after that my neighbor drove out to my place with it. My friend called FedEx and they insisted that they delivered them.

Aren't you afraid of being tracked when you go in to sign for you package or would you rather go pick it up then have your home address in the "system". I just thought you would prefer less of a paper trail.

the non-delivery is not your problem

it's Mossberg's problem

you paid Mossberg for stuff, you didn't get it - so either Mossberg sends you replacement stuff, or you don't pay

it's not your problem to fight with FedEx and it's not your problem to track the package
