I saw a stock Accord the other day that had the huge fart can muffler and Viper bades in place of all of the Honda badges and white "racing" wheels. It was being driven by some 17 or 18 year old girl who was putting more effort into her cell phone than her driving.

And a note to all the VTEC owners out there
(even though they will not see this thread)

It's a VTEC not a VTRC

VTEC = Variable Timing Emissions Control

It not VTRC, Variable Timing Racing Control.

Your VTEC does nothing but save you about 1% on gas and save the enviroment by another 0.001%.
Just letting you know vtec stands for Variable valve Timing and lift Electronic Control, then you can use both high and low cam profiles on the same cam, which can gain around 20 hp per cam. Not that you probley care but just letting you know.

Just because he stated what VTEC actually stands for doesn't make him a ricer.

BTW people, I've seen ricers drive Jeeps before too. It's not just imports.

DISCLAIMER: I am not defending ricers. I hate that particular group of people just as much as any respectable enthusiast would. I am simply just trying to clean up some of the bullsh*t thats all

My wife's last car was a 2000 Civic Sedan. I hope it went to a good family, and not some ricer... but I have my suspicions.

So why isn't it VVTEC? Or is there a hyphen inbetween Variable-Valve?

VTEC?

I owned a 2000 Prelude and yes it was lowered and yes it was a VTEC, but no I didn't have any stickers depicting my model of Honda. Any $$$ i put into it actually increased the performance.

However that car means nothing to me compared to my TJ, I just wanted to know if you're making fun of VTEC. Also... what's wrong with Rap and Techno?
