How much do you owe in school loans?

If you don't mind sharing, how much do you owe in school loans? I have been surprised recently at how many kids' parents pay for their college almost in full. I have a few friends that are like that. When I graduated college I owed close to $52k now I have it down to about 46k after 2 years. It feels like I'll never pay it off.

I worked full time on evening and night shifts throughout college to cover my expenses. It took me 5 years to graduate, but I had $0 in debt when I was finished.

Perhaps "real college" will teach you how to write complete sentences with proper spelling and punctuation. In my day we learned that in grade school.

$0 Community College...

I dont think a 'real college' exists...

Depending on what your going for, I think a lot of schooling could be done at home with a little researching and a lot of reading. Leave the training for onsite.

I had 3 jobs while going to school plus the G.I.Bill (~$1100 a month). Graduated in 3 years with about 5k in debt and paid it off in about 6 months.

Took me 8 years of working full-time and going to class at night part-time to graduate. I had to pay for my last class with visa, but paid that off a few months later. If I ever go back, I would need to get a loan. Post-grad classes are so expensive.

Only had $10k when I graduated, and it was worth it to get done faster and out in the real world making much more money.

My neighbor is a doctor and plans on having a big party when he gets down to $200K in student loan debt. He had 0 debt after his undergrad, but massive amounts after going to Vanderbilt to become a doctor.
