How much do you owe in school loans?

If you don't mind sharing, how much do you owe in school loans? I have been surprised recently at how many kids' parents pay for their college almost in full. I have a few friends that are like that. When I graduated college I owed close to $52k now I have it down to about 46k after 2 years. It feels like I'll never pay it off.

I worked full time on evening and night shifts throughout college to cover my expenses. It took me 5 years to graduate, but I had $0 in debt when I was finished.

Currently in College work full time I currently Dont have Any loans Communit college rocks it's so cheap lol but when i switch to a 'real college" persay it's gunna rape me. prob 20k

Perhaps "real college" will teach you how to write complete sentences with proper spelling and punctuation. In my day we learned that in grade school.

$0 Community College...

I dont think a 'real college' exists...

Depending on what your going for, I think a lot of schooling could be done at home with a little researching and a lot of reading. Leave the training for onsite.

I had 3 jobs while going to school plus the G.I.Bill (~$1100 a month). Graduated in 3 years with about 5k in debt and paid it off in about 6 months.

No debt here Best "gift" my dad gave me - a college education and then starting life w/o any debt.

Took me 8 years of working full-time and going to class at night part-time to graduate. I had to pay for my last class with visa, but paid that off a few months later. If I ever go back, I would need to get a loan. Post-grad classes are so expensive.

Only had $10k when I graduated, and it was worth it to get done faster and out in the real world making much more money.

My neighbor is a doctor and plans on having a big party when he gets down to $200K in student loan debt. He had 0 debt after his undergrad, but massive amounts after going to Vanderbilt to become a doctor.
