How long after soaking corn do you leave it on the grill?

Until it talks. And I don't mean one or two names. I mean make it spill its guts. Bare light bulb and nails through the soles of the feet work best. Not that I would know.

You only need to wrap it in foil if you take the husks off... otherwise you're good to go if you soak it first and pull out as much of that fluffy **** as you can off the ends before you Q'em...

I've never soaked in water, why would you do that?

You don't really have to... I just like to do it as it helps keep the corn moist ... doesn't dry out as much over the barbeque... that way you get the best of both worlds.

Not to mention it keeps the husks from burning too fast

Here's how I do mine:

Shuck it

put it in foil with a quarter stick of butter (cut length ways) and a bunch of montreal or greek seasoning

grill for about 10 minutes then flip it and and do the other side for the same

after i went wheeling this weekend, we had a bbq over here. i threw the corn on the top rack of the grill covered in foil, husks off, and no soaking just before the brats went on. took em off when the brats came off, and it was freaking amazing corn! oh yea, i flipped it halfway too

I like mine lightly cooked so it's still crisp and nutritious.

If you grill an ear of corn on the hood of my black TJ today in Mississippi, it would probably take about two minutes.

We did this the other night when we lost power...

I've also done it where I husk it, wrap it in seran wrap and then microwave it for 3 minutes. Yum!
