Until it's paid off. I really do miss my Honda for the mpg. Got jeep fever and traded her in impulsively. The JK is cool too, mainly got it to have 4wd in the winter, but I'm just not crazy about it. I thought I would like it more than I do. I think once it's paid off in a year or two I'm going back to a Honda and getting a pearl white CR-Z with 40 mpg.

The 99 TJ was my first car and after 85k miles, still got it. It's not my daily driver anymore, don't really see a need to get rid of it. When it breaks down, I just take my time and fix it on the weekends.

Purchased My 97 TJ in 2008 as a Toy/3rd Vehicle & Since I don't care for The Newer Jeeps I plan on keeping the TJ Indefinetly if something happened to it It would likely be Replaced with another TJ Preferably 97-98 or 99 Model

Bought my first Jeep in 06 it's an 01 TJ. Rode in my first Jeep back in 98. Wanted one ever since. When I could actually afford one on my own I bought one. Paid for, never going to get rid of it. Have an 03 TJ as well I bought as a project. Plan on keeping that one for awhile also.

If someone offers a fair price, I'd happily hand them the keys today.

I've actually been looking at a Focus too. You can find a nice used 2013 for less than $13000.

Well I kinda deviated from my original plan.

I ended up with a 2011 ford fusion sport, the sport has 265 HP lol, different/firmer suspension..etc. The normal fusions with the 3.0 and the 2.5 had the ****ty trans, the sport had all the good stuff so I held out for that.

The new focus has a **** trans if you get an auto. Lots of complaints about the CVT trans in that car so if i were you, id look at the manual.

There isn't a fair price on my 94 YJ. It's worth more in parts than it is a whole vehicle! Then there's the issues of buying a newer Jeep and building up to the standards of what my YJ is now! It could take a LOT of money and possibly another 20 years!

It's like a good marriage. We've spent 20 years together. More than my current wife! And I can definably say after 272,000+ miles that I've put more mileage on my Jeep than my wifie. And then there's all the memories, and adventures my Jeep and I have done! We have wheeled everywhere on the East coast together, including 2 cross country trips from Tampa to Niagara Falls Canada! And we even have had CHILDREN together! All 3 of my sons now have 1999 TJ's! That we are raising together in a marital bliss that is really hard to part with!!!!

Since Jeep keeps pushing back the rollout of a new GRAND WAGONEER, I gotta hold onto it at LEAST until 2018 now. My kids aren't getting any SMALLER, so Jeep BETTER be getting BIGGER!!!

'07 Commander, Rocky Mountain Edition, 67k miles, & looking for advice!!!

Nice man. Nice car. Yeah, I'd only get a manual. I hate driving auto cars. I just need something that's good on gas, ad that isn't boring to drive. I'll own Jeeps and stuff again when i have a house, and can afford stuff like that.
