How long do you plan on owning your current Jeep?

I have owned a couple of Jeeps that I was more or less in love with. Each of these vehicles hold a special place in my heart, but aren't necessarily still parked in my driveway. How many of you plan on keeping your Jeep forever? How many of you already have plans to trade-in or sell your current Jeep? What cars, trucks or Jeeps do you regret selling? Let's see them and hear your thoughts and stories!

I regret selling my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I miss the room and comfort of that thing. Especially with an upcoming camping trip, I can't believe I made the trade to a 2013 Chevy Spark. Now I'm going to have to buy a hitch and a basket or a roof rack for the TJ just to go anywhere.

Good bye. buddy. I hope you found a good home.

As for my 2006 Wrangler, I will keep it forever probably. Hopefully one day I will have some time and spare money to throw parts it. I plan on giving it to my daughter when she's 18.

I really regret selling my old 97 Tacoma I had, 1997 V6 Single Cab 5 speed 4x4 with only 70k miles.

Presently, I plan on keeping my TJ for life. But who knows what my future holds. I will say that I've never owned a more fun, enjoyable and rewarding vehicle than a Wrangler.

Missing my old truck and not wanting to sell my current Jeep is why I started this thread.

Yeah, I guess I'm not too attached to my Jeep. I wouldn't mind having an LJ but cant see myself spending that much coin on one and having to do everything I did to mine over again, I like Comanche's but I really dislike uniframe/body. I guess my Toyota was my first "car" so it's still kinda what I feel in my heart.

I've got a soft spot for LJ's as well, but like you said, starting over again or switching everything out is hard to justify.

I don't know if it will be the same ones I have now, but I have decided I will always have a Jeep and a Suburban.

Yeah, I just replaced the trans in my Jeep less than 100 miles ago and I'd also have to buy another poly performance cage add on and weld it in again if I bought an LJ.

Hopefully not much longer. DDing it is killing my wallet. Hoping to sell it fairly soon.

You actually replaced the trans with another, or rebuilt it?

Curious what trans you have and how much it cost you? I'm simply inquiring because if I keep running mine as a DD, I have a feeling I'll be replacing my trans in due time.
