How do you measure download amount on comp?

I have satellite internet, something I very much regret but have a contract.

Anyways there is a threshold, meaning you are not aloud to download more than 7000MB a month. Which normally should not be a problem..But we are having trouble staying under that amount. Does anyone know how we can look in some computer system settings or something to determine the amount each computer is using....I have three computers networked. The satellite company says I should be able to run 5 computer 24/7 with no problems as long as we are not using streaming audio or downloading multiple programs.

They assured us before we bought it that the limits would not be a problem even if we have several computers running 24/7 with people on them. IT keeps being a problem though. I cannot wait for this contract to end. I do not recommend Widlblue internet to anyone. It is though dish network.

I have satellite....Hughesnet. I hate it buts its my only option due to my location. I think I'm allowed 350MB every 24 hours. I have exceeded it a couple times and your internet speed drops to dial up speeds.

When I signed up for this service I was paying 45 a month for 28K dialup. I switched to this much faster plan through satellite for 50 a month. To me I do not care about download I use no streaming audio at all. My bro-in-law is blind and likes to download books. He does not even do that much because of the restrictions.
