How do you afford it?!

I spent most of the day planning my future mods for my jeep, and wow... that grand total was a nice surprise! (http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/4517886-post19.html)

Just curious how you all afford this stuff? Loans? Still single? Wife your sugar momma? Mafia?!

I'm 24, single, living at home, have a full time job, making right about the average income, and trying to figure out how I'm gonna budget all of this!

This website has really opened up my wallet

basically you don't do everything at once. Do it over a couple years, makes it seem a lot less expensive. The parts will always be there, no need to rush putting them all on, unless you've got the proper funds.

hahah thanks, but i agree with your second comment, search for everything, then search again, do it right the first time, buy used parts, make little upgrades, do your own work

Apparently the way to go about it around here is to wait until someone busts their *** for a few years, then go steal it in the middle of the night.

Doesn't get any cheaper than that.

Ignore the voice in your head that says "no" and deal with the consequences later.

I try not to think about it...I get a lot of flak from coworkers and friends for "wasting" my money...but its what I like. I save a lot of money doing my own wrenching...I feel sorry for the guys who have to pay shops to do all the work...those become the 50k dollar jeep real quick.

So there's no underground flow of cash around here?! ah bummer!

I definitely get a lot of negative comments about the money I spend on my jeep. Mainly my parents. They think it's going to look goofy, which is just a silly comment to make! It will look awesome to me

My main concern is doing everything in an order where I don't look back and say, man i wish i did this instead!

Whoops, I actually forgot to include it in the title. That package includes a free SYE and Tom Woods Custom Driveshaft.

I sell my body. That's how I can afford an awesome machine like this:
