I think...you can sign up for MOAA and then that allows you to become a member of Pen Fed and then that allows you to get USAA?
I pay State Farm $595 for six months on full coverage with rental on my 05 WK. I get a few discounts with for home owners and life insurance via SF and I'm 30.

When I was young I was paying $125/month for insurance through All-State - 10 years of them. Now, at 27, I have my TJ with liability since I don't drive it too much, my Silverado with full coverage, my bike with liability and my car has been removed since it's for sale. I pay $118/month for that.

I'm 23, and I pay less than $1,200 a year for insurance. It is on a family plan, though, and my dad is a VP at that insurance company...but $4,500/year?! OUCH

I'm 18 and i drive an 05 tj as well. up here in Alberta we have a driver's training program, which costs about 500 bucks to take, but drops insurance by about 600 a year. My family has 4 cars ( i drive an 05 TJ ), but i am insured on a 97 ford ranger, which we keep just to keep my insurance down. so i only pay about 1400 per year. i believe it will be about the same when i transfer to the jeep, as long as i get rid of all the bells and whistles of the insurance plan. plus i have no tickets or violations, so that helps as well

I put my mom's name on the title for my 98 cherokee. She's a 55 year old woman with no tickets or accidents recently. I just insured the car under my mom and the insurance goes with the car no matter who drives it. My insurance is about 150 every 6 months but it only covers the damages that are not my fault

25 and pay $454 every six months full coverage $500 dectuctible on my '09 Wrangler.
When I was in my teens I was paying about $600 every six for $0 deductible comprehensive on a 95 T-bird and almost always had a one ticket on my record. This is with State Farm and no multi-line, I will get that discount in September when I get married and have 4 vehicles insured. |

Geico is the key here. I have an 05 WK 4wd and a 2006 TJ and I only pay about $1450 a year for them both full coverage including road side assistance, lockout and other features! Yay!!
I am also 26, but the rule of 25 is a common misconception. Every insurance carrier varies on what age they start dropping their rates. I have heard most have a set tier based on your age. There is no golden rule where you turn 25 and your rates drop. Bottom line, dont look forward to your rates dropping when you turn 25. :-)
