Honda Odyssey ATV with Pics

When I was younger a friend of mine had a Honda Pilot(400cc). We had a blast in that thing. Has anyone ever owned an Odyssey? I bought one and pick it up this week. It looks like it will be a blast.(a 250cc powered roll cage) I think everyone in the family from kids to Grandpas() will enjoy it. The thing is 27 years old and still looks and runs great. I will post pics when I pick it up.

Had one and planned to rebuild it. Ended up scrapping it though, it was rusty beyond repair.

Sadly, some will think that you're talking about a mini-van.

This one has an electric start. Guess I'm lucky

I had the yellow version of the same thing. It was fun but there's no reverse, so you always have to get out and lift the front to turn it around.
I traded it for the next generation that had electric start and reverse.
I eventually traded that one for the 400cc Pilot. BIG difference.
GET WRIST STRAPS for the steering wheel. First instinct is to put your hand out to stop a roll over, which happens often with that model.
They are fun but remember they are also kinda' dangerous for kids.

I love the classic stitch-work repair on the fenders. Reminds me of my old Yamaha Warrior.

It's funny that Honda reused it's ATV's names for production vehicles. I had no idea.

I know what you mean. The Odyssey and Pilot were always ATV's in my world. Some of the younger guys have never even seen a "real" Odyssey or Pilot. All they know are the mini vans

My friend had an odyssey. Biggest POS ever, he got it because his mom wouldn't let him get an ATV because she was afraid he'd get hurt, so he got and Odyssey, with no electric start. I ended up with a 660 grizzly, and my other friend got a 400ex, and every time we went riding, it was guarneteed that the day was going to end with the Odyssey (aka go-wheeler) breaking down, ususally because the starter broke. Needless to say, he got rid of it.

Also, it was ironic how it came from the factory with a snorkel, but it sucked at going through water because of the belt.
