High temp grease means high temp grease

Im an idiot. 3 weeks ago I replaced the clutch in my s10. The throwout bearing was shot so I did everything. I was almost positive that the grease in my gun was high temp. Today I found out it wasnt. The TO bearing started squealing while I was in spokane, I got home 2 hours later, parked in the driveway, went in to change and when I came out, the clutch wouldnt move. It took me 3 hours to free it up and grease it through the clutch fork dust cover.

So, dont be like me, make sure that **** is high temp.

I tend to learn best from experience as well. Glad to hear you were able to fix it.

Couple the need for High temp grease along with having to weigh a specific amount to the gram. Have to use this method on high speed spindles, too much or too little causes the spindle to overheat and lockup. Pain in the ***.

BTW Bender.........CONGRATS ON YOUR COUSIN GETTING DRAFTED!!!!!!
