Hey guys I'm in Costa Rica, need help

I have no experience as a mechanic but I want to learn, my biggest problem is that parts are to expensive down here, and the other is as I told you my lack of experience. Have any of you ship something out side of the US and actually got there? I want to lift my rig and in the future to change the Peugot tranny.

Can anybody help a new jeeper far away?

mostly I'm looking for a 4" or 3" lift, but I know that I'm going to need a Dana 44 soon.

It would cost more for shipping on a D44 than a human heart. I suggest that you go to a wrecking yard and find one out of something else. Somebody here has a link to what vehicles have 44's that will work.

You can have whatever you want shipped to me. then you can buy me a round trip ticket to Costa Rica and I'll bring it with me. Can you also pick me up at SJO and give me a ride to Puerto Viejo?

You're my kind of people, so you have visited the town without law. Did you try our local beer (Imperial or Pilsen)? I'm trying to make my Jeep run on it.(It has enough alcohol)

Sorry I can't buy you the ticket.

Hell yeah. I had Imperial, Pilsen, Tropical and your Costa Rican version of Heineken too. I'll bet you can get your Jeep to run on Cacique. I was there for a month and liked it so much I went back the next year for another 2 weeks.
I love your coutnry. It's probably even better with a 4X4.
Where are you from? I'm going to CR again at the end of February.

I'm Costarican born and raised here, I live downtown San Jose (the capital for those who don't know) and yes it's better if you have a 4x4. Hey maybe we can go somewhere when you get here, that's if my Jeep is still running, I fear every day that my Peugot tranny is gonna die.
