Helped out my first snow victim!

So last night, on my way back from the grocery store, I spot a Nissan Sentra, having troubles on the side of the road. I stopped to help and ended up towing them home. They were only a few hundred feet from their house. It sounded to me like their gas line froze up on them. I overheared one of the guys saying, "It's times like these that make me wish I had a Jeep!" I hid my smile and just went on getting the chain hooked up. This morning, we woke up with 2' of snow!

Is that really possible ?!?
I am SO glad I live in the South. The only ice I see is what comes out of the ice dispenser.... on the refrigerator.

I helped out my first vitim this a.m. also. my buddies father thought he could get his $45,000 cadillac out of the driveway today. he was shovelling for a couple hours when i finally pulled up. tied a line to him and pulled him out with ease. told him to buy a real vehicle and was one my way. it felt kinda nice

Being from the same area as Sat. I can vouch for the snow . I jump-started another Wrangler and helped a lady dig her Grand Cherokee out of the snowbank all before breakfast ! Driving in snow is like wheeling , Be prepared ! . I carry a tow strap , jumper cables , basic tools , fire extinguisher , 1rst aid kit , and small snow shovel in my Jeep in the winter . You can make an emergency kit pretty cheap , it doesn't take up the much space and it just might save your a$$ some day !

very nioce - I did as well. i pushed my coworker up a hill with my brishguard last night - he had no tow hooks on his car..... Great fun. Our cars were sitting side by side from 3:30pm til almost 3 in the morning. took us over a half hour to get him out of his parking spot to a point where I could get behind him and push him up the hill. I drove right out of my spot though

I love my pos YJ

Definately! If you get water in your lines, it will freeze up in cold temps. It's always good to use a gasline anti-freeze, if you drive in a cold state.

You are not allowed to TAKE the money GT... That's not a real jeeper thing to do...

I save people all the time. I tugged a guy in a ricer that was stuck on the street. He had no business driving in his ricer. I somply wrpaed my strap through his front control arms and dragged him home. I told him to be careful and not slide UNDERNEATH my jeep...

This past weekend we got just over 3 feet of snow!!!
I so dozens of cars stuck and really wanted to help them out....but none of the damn cars had anything for me to attach a tow strap too. I thought about tieing to their control arms like Owen did but was afraid I could crack their bumpers.

Another good thing to keep in your Jeeps are those hand/feet/body warmers...I got some at wally world for 2 bucks a pack. You simply open the bag, shake the pouch and these damn things warm up to 120-150 degrees. The ingredients inside along with the air causes some kind of a reaction that makes heat. They last about 8-10 hrs.
