~Help with movie posters~

I am decorating my theater walls.
It has six wall wash can lights mounted into the recessed lighting soffet that put a pretty good amount of light right where I want to put movie posters in frames.
The back wall will be for smaller framed 8X10 autographed glossys. I already have two, Jessica Alba and Bruce Lee, both with certificates of authenticity. I was thinking to maybe do frames that would hold the picture and the cert just below it matted. I should be able to fit about six to eight of those on the back wall.
But I want to know from you all who you think would be the best for the 8X10's that would be available with certified autographs. I'm looking for a John Wayne and a Raquel Welch one already. But who is classic enough to go on the wall?
And for the posters, I already have some, but am not really decided if I'm going to use them.
The one I am definately going to use is an original THX-1138 numbered poster (27X41).
The others are kinda'..... eh..... not so sure about.
They are also originals: Wizard of Oz, Flashdance, and Dark Angel, which I will put back on ebay if I don't use them.

So.... what's YOUR idea of a really CLASSIC movie poster, new or old?
And which actor/actress do YOU think should adorn the back wall?

When I finish this, which will be by this Thanksgiving weekend, I will post pics. I'm still working on the starlight ceiling and the in wall DVD case.
Before Christmas I want to finish the motorized curtain that covers the 126 inch screen. it seats eight and it's full THX 7.2 with Atlantic Technology speakers and a Sim2 HD projector. Has the obvious amps and components plus an Xbox 360. I'm building a rack mount multi-terrabyte computer with blu-ray for it, but it's going too slow. Undecided on the audio and video cards for it, so if you have info on that, please help.

Jaws, Army of Darkness, Star Wars, Scarface, The Godfather, Platoon, Full Metal Jacket, The Shining, Ghostbusters, Caddy Shack, Patton, Pulp Fiction. I could put more down but I don't want to ramble on.

Jaws would be good. Star Wars is too over done. The Shining would be a second choice from that list, and Godfather would be third.
Thanks. I didn't even think of Jaws. Off to ebay. C'ya.

I'm a big fan of cheesy/campy 50's scifi and horror, so I'd go with something like "Attack of the killer tomatos", "Night of the living dead", "Attack of the 50 woman", "The Day the earth stood still", "The Brain that wouldn't die", "Plan 9 from outer space", "Forbidden Planet", "Them!", "The Blob"... Something like that.

Night of the Living Dead would be my choice from your list. Thanks!

So as far as original Jaws posters, I could only find two on ebay. the rest are all reprints. I want originals.....

Jaws One Sheet Original Movie Poster Shark - eBay (item 370277564751 end time Nov-18-09 18:26:40 PST)

and

Spielbergs classic - "JAWS" - rare 1978 original poster - eBay (item 290354714113 end time Oct-29-09 09:12:05 PDT)

I'll see what they have for night of the living dead. That definately was a classic.

"Platoon" and "Tombstone" would certainly be on my favorites list, however not from your genre....I also always really liked the poster for "Backdraft....just some suggestions, I'm sure whatever you choose will turn out looking good to you!!

I think tombstone could work in the mix of classics. sure it isnt as old but its still amazing.

but as for my list of actors i think clint eastwood would be awesome. guy is a hollywood legend as well as certified badass.

I bid on a Tombstone original poster signed by the cast with a COA. I was outbid at the last few seconds. One of the more dissapointing moments in life.
Backdraft was good, but I don't think of it as a "classic" like wizzard of oz or night of the living dead. It was a cool poster tho'.

Animal House and American History X are solid

I thought of some others that I like: The Deer Hunter, Taxi Driver, Raging Bull, Deliverance, Psycho.

I'm also a fan of the horror films. Probably not popular but stuff I would like to have the posters.

Friday the 13th
Halloween
Nightmare on Elm Street
Texas Chainsaw Massacre (original)
