Hey everyone,
I am in the midst of a career change. Currently I run a large restaurant and consider myself in the customer service business, I also have a degree in Psychology and am very interested in learning what makes people tick. I have also enjoyed applying my education at work and the restaurant is a perfect place to study people. After working up the ranks at various restaurants I have decided I would like to leave it all behind to pursue a career in the medical field.
I am strongly considering pharmaceutical sales as it seems compelling and lucrative but after doing some research it seems that it would be very difficult to get a job in pharma sales with no outside medical sales experience. Therefore, I am in the process of finding a medical related sales position that is both lucrative and resectable to pharma companies. I would like to hear some ideas from people in the industry, like what jobs have you done I this industry and how was your experience? If anyone has done pharma sales I would love to hear about your experiences too. Thanks in advance!
